'We are going down' – Hearts fans fear 'six pointer' defeat to St Mirren spells relegation

Hearts fans fear they are now staring down the relegation barrel after defeat in the "six pointer" against St Mirren.

The Tynecastle club were dealt a huge blow after falling to defeat in Paisley at the hands of Jim Goodwin's spirited side.

A second half Jon Obika effort was enough to separate the teams on a night Daniel Stendel's men fell four points adrift at the bottom of the table.

And Hearts fans fear the result spells out nothing but relegation trouble.

@SpenceSenior fears that the club are now destined for the Championship.

@simodasink was left gutted at the apparent lack of "fight" shown in the St Mirren defeat.

@AB33_ seems to have given up any hope that the club can turn things around in the remaining eight matches.

@nathanbrns is already looking ahead to Championship football next season.

The defeat leaves Hearts bottom of the league, and four points behind second bottom Hamilton.

Their next fixture is away to Livingston on Sunday.
