'We are finished!' - Angry Chelsea fans react to what Frank Lampard has done against West Ham

Frank Lampard's team selection for tonight's Premier League fixture against West Ham United has sparked a big reaction among Chelsea supporters.

The Blues go into the game on the back of two away defeats in succession.

A 1-0 loss at the hands of Everton was followed up with a disappointing 2-1 reverse at Wolves - two results which has seen Chelsea slip out of the Champions League places.

But in an attempt to get his side back on the winning trail in the Premier League and to avoid a third straight loss in the competition, Lampard has made a few changes to the side which started against Wolves.

Premier League match preview: Chelsea v West Ham

Three to be exact.

As expected, Edouard Mendy, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, N'Golo Kante, and Christian Pulisic are among those who keep their place in the side.

However, Reece James misses out through injury and that means a first Premier League appearance for captain Cesar Azpilicueta since the goalless draw with Manchester United in October.

Jorginho and Tammy Abraham are the other two changes, with Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud dropping to the bench.

There's also a spot for Callum Hudson-Odoi amongst the substitutes following his spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, but Hakim Ziyech has not been risked.

Chelsea XI: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Thiago Silva, Chilwell; Jorginho, Kante, Mount; Werner, Abraham, Pulisic

Most of the reaction from Chelsea supporters on social media has centered around the inclusion of Timo Werner and his role in the side as there's unhappiness at him playing wide.

Take a look at some of the best responses on Twitter...

@wxrnerpropCEO said: "Werner on the wing we are finished."

@HAKIMZIYECH___said: "3-1 West Ham I am hearing."

@gavincook_66 saio: "Werner playing out of position once again..."
