Prince Harry has acknowledged for the first time there are tensions between him and Prince William, saying the brothers are "on different paths at the moment".
The Duke of Sussex was asked about the press coverage of supposed rifts in the relationship with his older brother in an interview for the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, which aired in the United Kingdom over the weekend.
"Part of this role, part of this job, this family, being under the pressure which it's under, inevitably stuff happens," Prince Harry told interviewer Tom Bradby.
"But we are brothers. We will always be brothers.
"We are certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him, and as I know he will always be there for me.
"We don't see each other as much as we used to as we are so busy."
But he suggested some of the tabloid coverage of the rift was overblown.
"I love him dearly and you know, the majority of the stuff is probably — well, the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing. But as brothers, you have good days and you have bad days," Prince Harry said.
The interview with Prince Harry aired days after his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, revealed she was struggling with the intense media scrutiny.
She married Prince Harry at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in May 2018 and gave birth to the couple's son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, in May this year.
When asked about the impact the public scrutiny has had on her physical and mental health, the Duchess said it would make any woman feel "really vulnerable", especially when they are pregnant.
