"We all float down here" - IKEA Edinburgh pays homage to Stephen King's IT

There's plenty to love about good old IKEA - the meatballs , the wee pencils and the flat pack furniture (in that strict order).

But if you find yourself wandering around the giant store you might come across something more than a bit spooky.

One Twitter user shared pictures from her most recent visit to the Swedish shop in Loanhead and it would appear that one horror-loving staff member has had fun using IKEA products to pay homage to a film and literary classic.

Snaking up from a drain at the end of a corridor, a red balloon lamp snakes out of it, recreating the iconic scene from Stephen King's terrifying tale 'IT', the second part of which is due to hit cinemas this year.

Not far from this a yellow raincoat can be found on its own in a cupboard as worn by Georgie in the gruesome opening scene of the horror.

IKEA have previously done set-ups recreating legendary living rooms from TV shows such as Friends, The Simpsons and Stranger Things.

However - it's safe to say that you won't catch us alone in that lonely IKEA corridor.
