The Thai champion successfully defended his title for the second time after his hard-fought majority decision against Mexican challenger Juan Francisco Estrada at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday.
The victory saw the 31-year-old southpaw jump three spots in the famed magazine's latest list published on Wednesday.
Srisaket's record now stands at 45-4-1 with 41 knockouts.
Saturday's bout continued his inspirational Cinderella story that began with his upset victory over then holder Roman Gonzalez at Madison Square Garden last March.
Srisaket then retained his title with a brutal fourth round knockout of the Nicaraguan in an immediate rematch in September in California.
His latest rousing effort earned the Thai champ a lot of admirers, among them one of The Ring's panel Adam Abramowitz.
"I think Srisaket belongs at No.1 pound for pound," Abramowitz told The Ring.
"No one at the top level has wins as good as he does over the calibre of opposition, wins over two pound-for-pound top 10 fighters. He knocked out the guy who was at No.1 [Gonzalez]. I'd take his wins over anyone else's.
"One further point, I know Estrada isn't currently ranked the pound-for-pound top 10 by The Ring, but he is by other ranking groups out there. Either way, defeating Roman and Estrada is a much better achievement," he added.
Abramowitz's opinion was echoed by Rian Scalia, a fellow panel member.
"Srisaket has better wins than [Naoya] Inoue, [Errol] Spence and [Guillermo] Rigondeaux hasn't had a top win in years," said Scalia.
