WB Power Services opens nine new offices on back of "unprecedented" 2020 growth

A business that provides power installations, generator maintenance packages and generator hire to customers across the UK has opened nine new office locations following a period of rapid unprecedented growth.

Up until recently WB Power Services had a corporate headquarters in Heanor, Derbyshire, an office in Ilkeston, a storage facility in Slough and depots in Barnsley and Gloucester.

New depots have now been opened in Cambridge, Middlewich and Preston and new offices have opened in East London, Norwich, Sunderland, Manchester, Cardiff and Plymouth.

The new premises will provide a hub for the company’s local engineering and sales team members.

Managing Director Andy Wilmott said since the start of 2020, WBPS had experienced unprecedented growth, with sales up 50 per cent year on year and new relationships struck with clients in the data centre, utilities, healthcare, and telecommunications sectors.

The new bases will help the business accommodate the increase in demand for its support, enhance customer service and stimulate further growth.

Mr Wilmott: “Our expansion into these areas of the United Kingdom marks a milestone moment for the growth of WB Power Services.

“We aim to utilise this space to facilitate an improved customer experience for both existing and new clients, improve our SLA’s and offer an office location closer to their operations.

“Our client’s operations are at the heart of everything we do, so we really hope they have a positive impact.”

Formed in 1983 by the Wilmott brothers, WB Power Services works with large UK-based data centres, hospitals, banks, military bases and utility companies, helping with their power supply, either as a primary or a back-up power source.
