Waynes and Joseph join Thielen in missing Thursday’s practice

Not great news for the Vikings as they prepare for the Cowboys in Week 9.

Both cornerback Trae Waynes (not injury related) and nose tackle Linval Joseph (knee) did not participate in Thursday’s practice after both participating on Wednesday.

Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press notes that Waynes is expected to play on Sunday, while Joseph’s status is up in the air.

Trae Waynes is noted today as not practicing due to not injury related. Mike Zimmer expects him to play Sunday.

For the second-straight day, Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) missed practice. It’d be a huge surprise if he was able to go on Sunday night.

Limited in practice were fullback C.J. Ham (ankle), defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo (shoulder), defensive end Stephen Weatherly (groin) and cornerback Mike Hughes (knee).
