Wayne Rooney will return to Old Trafford as manager of the England side at this year's Soccer Aid charity match, Manchester United have announced.
United and England's all-time leading goalscorer said he had been given 'special dispensation' from his current club, Derby County, where he is player coach, to take up the role.
The annual star-studded game raises millions for the global children's charity UNICEF.
The 2020 match had been originally scheduled for Sunday, June 6.
But United said that because of the coronavirus pandemic and the health and safety of all involved, a decision was taken to postpone the game until it was safe to reconvene.

The exact date and time of the match will be announced by ITV shortly, but it's expected to be in September.
It will be televised live from Old Trafford - but no fans will be present in the stadium.
Sam Allardyce - the former England manager and Soccer Aid stalwart - will be a co-manager, with ex-England goalie David Seaman as goalkeeping coach.
United said in a statement: "Wayne's involvement in the world's biggest annual charity match has been agreed with the full permission and support of Derby County Football Club."

Rooney, 34, said: "Taking part in Soccer Aid for UNICEF is something I have wanted to do for many years.
"Previously, I have never been able to make the dates work, but this year was obviously different.
"I was enormously proud to be asked to manage the England team and although there will be no fans at the match, it is always special to go back to Old Trafford."
"Simply representing your country is always a huge honour - and this game is no different.

"I'm looking forward to working with Sam and David.
"Yes, the players and I want to win the match but the real victory is helping to raise millions of pounds for UNICEF.
"This year, every £1 donated is automatically trebled thanks to the UK Government and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, so I would ask people to donate if they can.
"I'd like to thank Derby County Football Club for giving me special dispensation to take part in the match.
"Soccer Aid for UNICEF is a show that we've always tried to watch as a family over the years. The names taking part this year will make it one of the most exciting to date, so I hope everyone at home tunes in."

Comedian Jason Manford, Joel Dommett, Santan Dave, James Bay, Kelly Smith MBE, former United captain Patrice Evra, 'keeper David James and Lianne Sanderson will make their Soccer Aid for UNICEF debuts, alongside returning stars Yaya Touré, Wes Brown, Katie Chapman, Robbie Keane, Olly Murs, Kem Cetinay, Marvin Humes and Joe Wicks.
More names will be announced in due course, United said.
An all-star England team will take on the Soccer Aid World XI FC, with both teams featuring household names from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
Since 2006, Soccer Aid for UNICEF - the brainchild of Robbie Williams - has raised more than £38million to help give children all over the world.
Last year's match raised £7.9million.
