Wayne Rooney is said to be in the doghouse with his wife Coleen but he's still wearing his wedding ring.
The footballer, 33, sported his ring while he was at practice with DC United in Washington on Tuesday.
His outing comes after he was seen heading into a hotel with another woman over the weekend following a reported seven-hour booze bender.
Wayne looked glum while he was dressed in his full kit and mingling with his American teammates.
He sported a blue jersey, black vest and matching shorts for the session, as well as green trainers and white ankle socks.
The athlete clearly had a lot on his mind as he enters crisis talks with Coleen, also 33.
Wayne was in Canada with his teammates last weekend when he was pictured with the mystery woman.
Coleen arrived in the US this week to confront Wayne about the story, and the two were seen driving around the city in separate cars .
She is reportedly demanding he return to the UK to save their marriage.
Wayne would face paying a penalty if he broke his contract before the end of the season, which is due to finish with DC's final match on October 7.
She is said to have ordered her brother to babysit Wayne so he stays out of trouble while he has to remain in America.
The reports come after years of strife for the couple, fuelled by Wayne's partying ways.
When he was arrested for drink-driving back in September 2017 - in the company of party girl Laura Simpson - Coleen later admitted she came close to ending their marriage .
The couple are parents to four boys, Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three, and 16-month-old Cass.
