Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has shown that his eldest son Kai is a chip off the old block.
The 10-year-old son of Coleen and Wayne has been working with a coach on his footballing skills, and proud dad Wayne has showcased the results of his hard work by posting a video on his Instagram.
In the video Kai trains with private football coach Tom Owens, weaving through a hopscotch ladder.
"Thanks for Kai’s sessions @tomowensuk. Quality," wrote Wayne.
"Imagine years from now having Old Trafford chanting for Kai," cheered one fan.
"MUFC incoming," commented another impressed follower.
"Strikes the ball just like his old man! This is quality," commented another.
Another said Kai was a 'baby Rooney' and another said he was 'the new Wazza.'
"The new Rooney is coming," said another excited fan.
Red Devils star Wayne arrived at Old Trafford in 2004 where he won 16 trophies and scored 253 goals, making him their top goalscorer of all time.
In 2017 he returned to his boyhood club Everton before moving to D.C. United of Major League Soccer the following year.
The footballing icon , who made international debut playing for England in February 2003 aged 17 and is England's youngest ever goalscorer, has four sons with his wife Coleen Kai, Klay, six, Kit, four, and Cass, two.
The Rooneys have been settling back into life in Cheshire after moving back to the UK from Washington D.C. last year.
Wayne, 34, marked his comeback to English football, after playing for D.C. United, as he made his debut for Derby County as player-coach last month.
