Wayne Rooney had soccer fans in awe with this beautiful 65-yard goal from beyond midfield

Wayne Rooney has done something incredible yet again in his legendary soccer career.

The former Manchester United star who is now in his second year in the MLS with D.C. United scored a goal Wednesday night against Orlando City that will be on his career highlight film whenever he decides to walk away from the beautiful game.

The 33-year-old forward had fans in awe as he scored the game’s first goal with an amazing strike from his team’s own end. He saw Orlando City’s goalkeeper was off his line and some was able to put one over his head from 65-yards out and find the back of the net:

That was absolutely bananas.
