Wayne Lineker posts pic of huge queue as he finally reopens his Ibiza super-club

Party king Wayne Lineker is celebrating as revellers lined the streets to get into his super club for the first time this year.

The Celebs Go Dating star, 58, was forced to close the doors of the club he owns during the pandemic.

But now Ibiza has been added to the green lists, Brits are flooding over - and they clearly want to see the star on the famous strip.

He has suffered many sleepless nights because of the lack of business since Covid-19 first hit.

But he looks to be back with a bang after throwing open his doors after planes landed in the sun spot from the UK over the past few days.

Last week, he told how he was so anxious he couldn't even speak as he awaited the return of party-goers and the government OK.

It looks like he shouldn't have worried as drinkers formed a huge queue to get their hands on some booze in the sun.

He uploaded shots of them waiting to get in after a torrid six months for the industry.

Wayne toasted the big news that the Baleric Islands were a quarantine free-zone last week by sinking a few drinks himself.

He yelled in an Instagram video: "I'm steaming! But it doesn't matter. If for one day or in my life I deserve to be steaming, it's today.

"I'm buzzing. We will announce in the next few days when we are going to open but it will be very soon."

He later shared shots of him spraying Champagne in celebration at the announcement before returning to add: "Ladies and gentlemen, we've got the f****** green light!"

Much of the Caribbean, Madeira and Malta have also opened up.

But all the new additions except Malta will be on a special "green watchlist" - meaning things could change at any point.

Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Antigua, Barbuda, Dominica, Barbados and Grenada have all now also been shifted on the green list.

Currently, Spain allows UK holidaymakers to visit without the need for a PCR test. However the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, announced this week that the rules are being changed.

Brits visiting Spain will now need to either show proof of being fully vaccinated against Covid, or have a negative PCR test result.
