Wayne Lineker lays down new rules for holidaymakers visiting his Ibiza bar

Ibiza party king Wayne Lineker has made some major changes to his world famous venue in Spain due to the coronavirus pandemic.

To keep Linekers in order and maintain staff and holidaymakers safety post-pandemic, the brother of footballer Gary has introduced a number of new measures.

This includes closing his dancefloor and implementing an anti-mist system at the entrance of the San Antonio bar, as well as sunbeds being moved two metres apart, reports the Mirror.

This Morning - Wayne Lineker speaks to Holly and Phil (ITV)

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning, Wayne said: "We're fully prepared.

"We have anti-misting systems for all clients as they walk into the venue at the entrance and the beds will be two metres apart.

"There's not going to be a dancefloor this year which is a shame but current times make sure that's not a possibility.

"We just want to be very safe for the clients.

"All the staff will be wearing masks and gloves so we're doing our bit, hand sanitisers on all the beds."

Asked how he would control drunk guests Wayne said: "It's really hard to forecast how it's going to be.

"When people have had a drink they get a bit more confident but we have a great strong security team that will be very polite and very well mannered in the way they address the people and keep them at a social distance."
