Wayne Bridge has shared the secret location that he keeps the bust of his wife Frankie’s bottom in their family home.
The 41-year-old former footballer has been married to 32-year-old former The Saturdays singer Frankie since 2014 and together they have two sons; six-year-old Carter and eight-year-old Parker.
The family of boys are living without their mummy-in-chief at present as she is currently roughing it in Gwrych Castle near Abergele in Conwy, North Wales as a contestant on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
But Wayne does have something to remind him of his wife, however – a cast of her bottom which she had specially made just for him.
Frankie revealed to her campmates last week that she had the special art piece commissioned as a Christmas gift in a past year.
Appearing on Lorraine on Monday, Wayne revealed exactly where he keeps the special cast of his wife’s bottom.
Show host Lorraine, 62, brought up the one-of-a-kind item, saying to Wayne: “She might not be there, but you do have something to… hold on to – which is the fantastic bum cast that she did!”
While Wayne giggled like a naughty school boy, Lorraine pressed on with her line of questioning, asking: “Where is the bum cast? Where do you keep it?”
Looking at a photo of Wayne posing with the silver coloured bottom, Lorraine added: “I mean, that’s rather lovely!”
Opening up about the derrière’s location, Wayne said: “It’s not, like, in the hallway or in the front room or anything downstairs.”
He continued, with a beaming smile: “It’s up in her dressing room out of the way a little bit so not everyone gets to see it!”
Wayne then explained that his friends are pressuring him to get Frankie a bust of his own bottom for her Christmas this year – but he laughed: “I don’t feel like I’m up for it.”
Frankie told her I’m A Celeb campmates about the origins of the unusual gift – explaining she got it for him at some point before he retired from football in 2014.
She explained: "I got Wayne a cast of my a*se. He used to say it as a joke, back when he was playing football," she dished.
"What do you buy someone who has everything? He always used to be like, ‘I just want a cast of your arse…’ so one year I was like, ‘Fine that’s what you’re getting'.
"So I took my two best mates and you literally have to bend over and this guy literally has to slap all of this stuff on.
"It’s like papier-mâché... slapping it all on. We have it up on the wall and it’s not like in the main part of the house, it's upstairs.”
And Wayne confirmed the story himself last week – recounting via Instagram how their conversation went, writing: "Frankie: 'What would you like for Christmas?' Wayne: 'A cast of your arse' Well… she doesn’t disappoint #ImACeleb @imacelebrity."
