Wayne Boylan murder: Three men previously arrested released following questioning

Three men have been released following questioning by police investigating the murder of Wayne Boylan.

The 37-year-old was shot dead at a property in the Lower Dromore Road area of Warrenpoint, Co Down, on January 18, 2019.

Two masked men burst into his friend's house and shot him in the head with a shotgun.

A 54-year-old man was arrested yesterday in the Belfast area, which followed the arrests of two men, aged 63 and 67, in the Warrenpoint area on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Three men aged 54, 63 and 67 years old arrested by detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of 37-year-old Wayne Boylan in the Lower Dromore Road area of Warrenpoint on January 18, 2019 have all been released following questioning.

"The investigation remains ongoing."
