Wayne and Coleen Rooney have reportedly installed state-of-the-art security at their new £20million mansion in Cheshire.
Reports claim builders have created a secret underground tunnel with heavy steel doors hiding a secure bunker at the legendary footballer's new family pad.
With a getaway car permanently on standby, the parents have prepared for the worse and would be able to whisk their four children to safety in the scary event of intruders.
At the end on the tunnel, according to The Sun , the underground bunker boasts a kitchen, toilet, internet connection and CCTV.
The publication also claimed the striker, 34, has resorted to extreme measures to ensure the safety of their 40-acre plot in the countryside.
The family are yet to move into their dream home and work is still being completed so the couple can happily settle into the new mansion with sons Kai, ten, Klay, six, Kit, three, and one-year-old Cass.
Reports also suggested that the luxurious property is set to have separate lifts - one for the family to use and the other for visitors.
When the work on the property is complete, the lavish home is said to include its own bar, snooker room, cinema and indoor swimming pool.
The huge mansion is also believed to house six bedrooms, a six-car garage, a library and a spa with a plunge pool.
The property features an outbuilding, a stable and a man-made fishing lake, among many more interior features.
MailOnline previously reported that a wine cellar and football pitch are also being constructed at the sprawling abode.
The emergency new measures come after the family suffered from an attempted raid on their house back in 2016.
The security scare saw raiders try to burgle the home during one of Wayne's matches against Everton at Old Trafford.
Coleen, 33, later revealed how she was left facing 'sleepless nights' as she kept suddenly waking up in the middle of the night to watch security cameras after fearing for her children's safety.
At the time, a source claimed that Coleen was living in fear but desperately tried to put on a brave face for her kids.
The insider told Closer: "Coleen is terrified. She can't stop replaying the scenario in her mind. She's devastated her family were targeted. However, she is staying strong and putting on a brave face for the boys."
The gorgeous star was apparently so scared that she begged Wayne to put the luxury mansion on the market.
The move in the New Year into the swanky new home comes as the family prepare for a fresh start after a tumultuous 2019.
The family incurred the wrath of the WAGatha Christie scandal, which saw Coleen allege that Rebekah Vardy's account had been leaking stories from her private Instagram to the press.
This year has also prompted Coleen to reportedly plan on renewing her wedding vows with husband Wayne after a difficult time.
