Manchester United made another costly Premier League slip-up today as the Red Devils fell to a 2-0 defeat against Watford at Vicarage Road.
Beating the big teams has not been a problem for United this season, with victories over Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City, Leicester, and a draw against Liverpool - but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have struggled badly against the other end of the table.
Jesse Lingard wasted the best chance of the first half for United as he lobbed the ball over the bar - and David de Gea's awful error allowed Ismaila Sarr to score soon after the restart, before Troy Deeney scored from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.
Paul Pogba returned off the bench as United tried to find a way back into the game, but the Red Devils turned in possibly their worst performance of the season as Watford ran out comfortable winners.
