Manchester City are on a roll and that spells trouble for Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.
Pep Guardiola's side have won six straight matches on the spin since suffering a shock home defeat against Crystal Palace in October and they are as short as 1/5 with Grosvenor Sport to make that seven this weekend. Watford, who are hovering just above the danger zone, are a whopping 14/1 to win their third home game of the season.
The Hornets are a bit of an enigma. They have lost nine games this term, more than any other side in the Premier League, but they hammered Everton and Manchester United and were arguably unlucky to lose out against Chelsea in the week given they edged their London rivals on possession, shots and shots on target.
Claudio Ranieri's side have been a real goal threat of late, scoring seven across matches against United, Leicester and Chelsea, and that could be our angle into this game.
The cumulative score in the last three meetings between these sides is 18-0 to Manchester City, which highlights the task facing Watford, but City's squad is being stretched at the moment and Watford are more than capable of causing them problems, especially if they can get the home crowd behind them with a fast start.
City weren't at their brilliant best at Villa Park, where the hosts restricted them to an xGF of just 0.9, their lowest xGF of the season, although that is as much a reflection on Villa's progress under Steven Gerrard as it is on City's performance.
Pep's side haven't lost on the road since the opening weekend of the season and it will be a major surprise if that record isn't extended, especially as Guardiola will know that three points could send City top of the Premier League given Chelsea must negotiate a very tricky trip to West Ham.

It's difficult to see anything other than an away win but City are far too short to be backing as a win single. However, we can boost that 1/5 significantly if we combine it with both teams to score (yes).
Watford caused Chelsea all sorts of problems in midweek and, if they can do that against a well-oiled machine like Chelsea, they can do it against anyone, including Manchester City.
City haven't kept a clean sheet in their last three games and they might not keep one at Vicarage Road either, although it shouldn't prevent them from picking up all three points.
