Man City injuries and suspensions
Etienne Capoue is suspended after being sent off against Leicester City. Watford will appeal the decision after Kelechi Iheanacho admitted the midfielder did not make contact with him in the tackle that resulted in his sending off. Capoue was given a straight red card by Graham Scott as Watford lost 2-0.
Watford forward Isaac Success has claimed his Nigeria team-mate Iheanacho told him that Capoue did not make contact. “I feel sorry for him,” said Success. “Let’s see what the FA do because it was never a red card.”
Tom Cleverley (calf) and Adalberto Penaranda (ankle) are both ruled out. Daryl Janmaat continues to build up fitness and will be assessed ahead of kick-off.

Head to Head
Manchester City have 15 wins over Watford, losing just six times.
In a very one-sided recent record, City have dropped points just twice in over 20 years to Tuesday's opponents and have scored 20 times over their previous six meetings.
