Crystal Palace are looking to win three Premier League games in a row for the first time in over 18 months when they travel to Watford FC this weekend.
A 2-0 away victory at Burnley was followed up with one in front of their own fans against Bournemouth, despite being down to 10 men from the 19th minute.
The Eagles are now sitting pretty in seventh, level on points with Manchester United, and could jump into fifth with a win over Watford, who appointed Nigel Pearson as their new head coach on Friday.
The former Leicester City manager will not take up the role until next week, so U23 boss Hayden Mullins will again take charge of the Hornets this weekend.
The game is on Saturday, December 7, with kick-off at 3pm.
Team news and lineups
Watford: Plenty on the treatment table for the Hornets, including Craig Dawson, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley, but Christian Kabsele should return.
Crystal Palace: Mamadou Sakho is banned for the next three games for his straight red card against Bournemouth and with Martin Kelly covering the injured Joel Ward at right-back, Cheikhou Kouyate dropped in alongside James Tomkins in the centre of defence.
A similar situation could happen on Saturday with both Gary Cahill and Scott Dann face late fitness tests on ankle injuries ahead of the game. Kouyate has experience playing at the back and could well reprise that role at Vicarage Road.
With Patrick van Aanholt having suffered a hamstring strain, Jeffrey Schlupp, who has two goals in as many games, is set to fill in at left-back.
How we think the sides could line up…
Watford: Foster; Femenia, Mariappa, Cathcart, Masina; Capoue, Doucoure, Sarr, Hughes; Gray, Deeney
Crystal Palace: Guaita; Kelly, Tomkins, Kouyate, Schlupp; Milivojevic, McArthur, McCarthy; Townsend, Zaha, Ayew
