Watford vs Chelsea: Predictions, team news, betting tips, live stream, TV – Premier League 2018-19 preview

Watford vs Chelsea
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Vicarage Road, Watford
Date: Wednesday, December 26, 2018
Kick-off: 7.30pm GMT

After a long unbeaten run, Chelsea have lost two of their previous four Premier League games to lose serious ground in the title race and now face a Watford side gunning for Europe.

Jamie Vardy saw Leicester City run out winners at Stamford Bridge at the weekend to leave the Blues five points off third-placed Chelsea and 11 off pace-setters Liverpool.

Watford have won two on the bounce, including an impressive victory at West Ham and have not won three on the bounce since the start of the season.

Head to Head

Watford sensationally won 4-1 at Vicarage Road last season as Antonio Conte's Chelsea equalised with eight minutes remaining yet still conceded three late goals.

However, that was the only win the Hornets have recorded over Chelsea this millennium, losing 10 of the 14 games since a 1-0 win in September 1999.
