On an afternoon where Arsenal let a two-goal lead slip against Watford, one Gunners player in particular arguably suffered the biggest embarassment.
Centre-backs Sokratis and David Luiz must take their share of the blame for how events unfolded in the second half at Vicarage Road.
Meanwhile, head coach Unai Emery will come under some intense scrutiny from a large section of Gunners supporters for some of his decisions when the team were on the ropes.
But for Matteo Guendouzi, he will want to forget the game in a hurry.
Withdrawn in the second half with the Gunners leading thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's brace, Guendouzi responded to the Hornets supporters who were giving him stick by making the '2-1' sign with his fingers.
Moments later David Luiz conceded a penalty and Watford were level as Roberto Pereyra made no mistake from 12 yards.
Therefore Guendouzi's attempt to rile up the Watford fans backfired in spectacular fashion.
And to which the Hornets had a perfect response.
Mocking Guendouzi's cheeky '2-1' hand gesture, the Watford official Twitter account replied with a pair of hands showing 2-2.
Emery did name-check Guendouzi in his post-match press conference, citing the midfielder will improve after making a mistake when attempting to play out from the back.
"We have some young players, they need to have experiences like today," Emery said. "Matteo [Guendouzi] is a very good player, he's young and very emotional, he has personality.
"Sometimes he needs to make some mistakes to improve.
The first half he made a mistake and they didn't score. The second half we continued trying because we need to do that work. Development is my responsobility.
"We can change and we have a second plan, doing long balls.
"In the second ball they were very strong and they didn't earn balls in that plan.
"We are going to work to make better our build-up with the goalkeeper, the centre-backs and midfielders and being well with long balls to break their lines and take more chances."
