(Reuters) - Watford midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah has recovered from a minor knee injury and is available for Saturday's Premier League trip to Newcastle United, manager Javi Gracia has said.

Chalobah has played only four minutes in the league this season and was a surprise call-up to the England squad for last month's Nations League games where the 23-year-old made his debut in the 3-2 win at Spain.

"He was disappointed after he came back from national (duty) because he felt a little pain and last week he wasn't available. This week he has trained with the team and is fit and ready to play," Gracia told a news conference.

Striker Troy Deeney will miss his third straight match with a hamstring problem while defender Sebastian Prodl (leg injury) has also been ruled out of the clash at St James' Park.

Watford, who are seventh in the table with 19 points from 10 matches, are looking for their third successive league win.
