The transfer market is hotting up and Everton are ready to make an impact.
Napoli midfielder Allan has flown to Merseyside in order to rubber-stamp a £22m move and the Blues remain in negotiations to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.
But other links continue. Here are the latest Everton rumours rated:
Abdoulaye Doucoure
Who? Watford midfielder
Where? Sky Sports, they also claim talks continue between Everton and Watford for Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The two clubs are said to be closer to agreeing a transfer fee but are still some distance away from a deal being struck.
Watford began negotiations wanting £35m for the French midfielder while Everton value him closer to £25m.
Meanwhile, Wales Online report Watford are interested in Swansea CIty's Matt Grimes as a replacement for Doucoure.
What? As Everton approach finalising deals for Allan from Napoli and James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, also signing Doucoure would round off an exceptional trio of midfield bolstering recruits.
It might come undone however if they cannot agree on the fee, especially as Monaco have been tipped as entering the race.
Sergio Romero
Who? Manchester United goalkeeper
Where? A Manchester-based freelance football journalist Peter Harding claims Everton are close to agreeing a deal with Manchester United for Sergio Romero.
He says a loan offer is on the table but United are keen to sell with West Ham and Leeds United also interested.
What? It seems very likely Romero will leave Man United with Dean Henderson's return to Old Trafford. Jordan Pickford isn't going anywhere and will remain number one choice but Romero would offer decent competition and backup if ever needed.
With other Premier League clubs interested, if they can offer guaranteed gametime to the Argentine, Everton could end up missing out.
Gylfi Sigurdsson
Who? Current Everton midfielder
Where? The Athletic claim DC United are interested in taking Sigurdsson to the MLS. and it wouldn't be the first time the American side signed an Everton number 10, after bringing in Wayne Rooney a couple of seasons ago.
What? Everton need to sell if they are to bring in new faces. The Blues are reportedly close to bringing in two new midfielders in Allan and Rodriguez.
The Colombian is more likely to take Sigurdsson's place in the starting lineup so it makes sense the Iceland international would be available if the right offer came in.
Everton will surely not be shortchanged on any deal though.
