Watford boss Javi Gracia delivers a number of injury concerns ahead of West Ham clash

Javi Gracia has a number of injury concerns to key players ahead of their Premier League tussle with West Ham at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Hornets have already confirmed that captain Troy Deeney has undergone knee surgery and is out of not only the visit of the Hammers but also for the next few weeks.

At his pre-match press conference, Gracia has also revealed there are injury doubts over influential midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure (ankle) and Roberto Pereyra (thigh).

"They are not training and we'll see in the next days if some of them can be available or not. In this moment they are doubtful," the Hornets manager confirmed at his press conference on Thursday.

"I'm sure we miss the players we don't have, but we don't complain about that.

"We have other players waiting and now is the moment to show the strength of our squad. All the players are working well and I'm sure we are going to have a good performance."

One of those players waiting is club-record signing Ismaila Sarr, who joined the club on deadline day from Rennes for more than £25m. He has yet to feature for his new club but could do on Saturday, alongside another new signing in Danny Welbeck.

"They are training well," Gracia said of the duo.

"Both are not in the best condition but most important in this moment is that they can help us."

For the Hammers, they have reported a clean bill of health for the game as the injured trio who missed out against Brighton, Felipe Anderson, Sebastien Haller and Mark Noble, have all been passed fit to play.
