POP pickers have the chance to own a piece of musical motoring history as Pete Waterman’s Porsche is up for sale.
The world-famous producer-songwriter and his colleagues Mike Stock and Matt Aitken each bought a 928 GT new in 1989.
Waterman’s version has done just 23,000 miles and is expected to sell for £40,000 to £50,000 at the H&H Classics auction in Buxton, Derbyshire, on July 24. It comes with four new Continental Sport Contract tyres on Magnesium wheels with factory spacers.
It also has recently fitted brake pads, cambelt, water pump, fuel oil and air filters, with an MOT until July 2020.
Responsible for more than 500 million record sales around the world, Waterman has worked with a who’s who of artists including Kylie Minogue, Donna Summer, Rick Astley, John Travolta and Steps.
