Waterford ready to show what they're about against Bohemians, says Alan Reynolds

Waterford beat Bohs when the sides last met at Dalymount Park, but the tables have turned since last season.

The Blues beat the Gypsies to a Europa League spot but are on course to lose it to St Pat's under UEFA rules, and while Waterford are in sixth spot after beating Cork and drawing with Derry over the past seven days, Bohs are up to second.

“We saw Bohs won earlier in the week against Shamrock Rovers so they’ll be full of confidence, but we’ve done well in the last few games against Sligo, Cork and Derry so our lads are confident, too," said Blues boss Alan Reynolds.

"It was a rollercoaster of a game against Derry, so to get the equalising goal with the penalty was great. We needed that because it’s been a crazy few days.

"We’ve still a few lads with some knocks but others are ready to step in and we’ll go there to play and show what we’re about.”

Waterford are still without Kenny Browne, Dean Walsh, and Kevin Lynch, while Karolis Chvedukas has been added to the casualty list.

Much could depend on whether Bastien Hery makes it - he is given a 50 per cent chance after picking up a knock against the Candystripes.

Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley: 'This team is ready to play anybody'
