Water service in north Dublin areas to be 'severely impacted' due to maintenance

Water service in two north county Dublin areas is to be severely impacted by scheduled maintenance works.

A planned water outage in Rush and Lusk is set to take place on Tuesday, December 14, between the hours of 10am and 3pm.

However, it is hoped that low pressure rather than total loss of water supply will be experienced by those living in Rush and Lusk.

Irish Water is currently in the midst of upgrading water pipes across Ireland with the aim of reducing the amount of water leaking.

This includes relaying 1.5km of pipes in Clontarf witht the aim of improving supply to homes and reducing leakage.
