Water politics a diversion: Congress

HYDERABAD: Congress has demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government ensure the letters given by MPs, MLAs and MLCs from Telangana for darshan of Lord Venkateswara should be honoured by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.

Addressing a media conference on Saturday, Telangana Congress newly-appointed working president T Jayaprakash Reddy charged that the Telangana chief ministers K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of escalating the animosity between the people of Telangana and Seemandhra by playing water politics.
