Water mains disruptions expected in Dublin area this week

One area of north Dublin is expected to experience water mains supply disruptions due to "essential maintenance".

The disruptions are expected to last more than 12 hours from 7am on Tuesday. A traffic plan will be in place to deal with travel disruptions caused by the works.

A Dublin City Council notice on the water outages read: "Essential maintenance works may cause supply disruptions to North Strand Road, Eastwall Road, Leinster Avenue, St Bridgets Avenue, Northbrook Avenue Lower, Xavier Avenue, Strandville Avenue, Bessborough Avenue, Stoney Road, Hibernian Avenue, Gaelic Street, Hyacinth Street, Ossory Road and surrounding areas in Dublin 3.
