Pink and white water lilies are in full bloom and entertaining visitors at the Showa Kinen Park that straddles Tachikawa and Akishima cities in Tokyo on Tuesday.
The park was temporarily closed from March 28 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but reopened on June 1 with the exception of some facilities.
Because of the high pressure, the skies were clear in eastern Japan on Tuesday. And according to the Japan Meteorological Agency, temperatures in Tokyo exceeded 25 C in the morning, with the highest temperature reaching 30 C around noon.
