Water brand evian has announced that British tennis star Emma Raducanu is the brand’s new Global Ambassador.
Raducanu has been hailed as an inspiration to young tennis players across the globe and a rising star both on and off court.
Commenting on the news, the 18-year-old said: “It’s an honour to join the evian team. evian is an iconic brand and a champion of tennis and the younger generation – that’s why I’m proud to join the evian roster of Global Brand Ambassadors.
"Being an athlete, healthy hydration continues to be of the upmost importance to my day-to-day activity so I’m excited to partner with evian and can’t wait to see what’s next.”
The teenager, who lives in Kent, rose to international fame when she won the US Open in September.
She stunned many when she raced through the qualifying rounds in New York to take the title in a thrilling final where she beat Canada's Leylah Fernandez 6-4, 6-3.
She became the first British woman in 44 years to win a Grand Slam singles title.
