Watch: Zay Jones says he came up with Toy Story touchdown celebration

Zay Jones has been out of action the last two weeks due to a knee injury suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. But he still made an impact against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday … sort of.

In a “Sounds of the Game” video released by the Jaguars on Tuesday, Jones was shown telling Christian Kirk that the team’s coordinated “Toy Story” touchdown celebration was his idea.

After a pick-six by Jaguars cornerback Darious Williams, the team’s defensive players all flopped on the ground like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the toys who heard Andy coming.

“In the locker room, before we boarded the plane, I said ‘I got the hardest celebration,'” Jones was shown telling Kirk. “Andy’s coming in the room, turn around, we fall out. Evan [Engram] goes ‘That’s boo boo.’ I said ‘Bro, no it’s not. It’s for the kids. 1995. Toy Story. It’s for the kids, man.'”

Unfortunately for Jones and Jaguars players, the touchdown celebration wasn’t on the ESPN+ broadcast as a shot of Desmond Ridder jogging off the field followed by a shot of the crowd celebrating were shown instead.
