WATCH: WR Keke Coutee scores first Texans TD vs. Colts

Keke Coutee: noted Indianapolis Colts killer.

On Sunday, with the Houston Texans down by 12 to the Colts with 8:48 left in the third quarter, quarterback Deshaun Watson ran his option-play with Coutee as the benefactor.

Watson read the defense, scampered towards the edge and flipped it to Coutee for a four-yard touchdown to narrow Indianapolis’ lead to five. To confuse the defense even more, Coutee motioned to the opposite side.

It was Coutee’s first touchdown the season, a rushing one too.

The play above has turned into a staple in the Texans playbook. Why wouldn’t it be? Coutee’s speed is dangerous, and defenses have to respect Watson’s dynamic running ability.

To set up the touchdown, Watson threw a 45-yard dagger to wide receiver Kenny Stills, who is filling in for the now-injured Will Fuller.

In all, the Texans were able to drive down 75 yards with just five plays, which took 1:46 to accomplish. Houston will need to continue those effective drives to pull off the comeback.
