WATCH: Who will be the Broncos starting quarterback in 2019?

The Denver Broncos can’t settle on a quarterback. They haven’t had stability at the position since Peyton Manning. Following him, they’ve jumped from Trevor Siemian to Brock Osweiler to Paxton Lynch to Case Keenum. Now, they’ve got a quasi quarterback battle between Joe Flacco and Drew Lock.

Flacco is a declining signal-caller, who may have won a Super Bowl but has averaged 19.3 touchdowns per season during his career. Lock could be a future franchise quarterback, but the emphasis should be on future. He’s got a long way to go developmentally, which is why he fell into the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Whoever starts at quarterback will likely determine whether John Elway has a job at the end of 2019.
