The Ohio State basketball team went to Madison and took down the No. 10 ranked Wisconsin Badgers 74-62. It was a big bounce-back win after a game the Buckeyes lost by two against Purdue. One that felt a lot like it should have been in the win column.
You don’t have to look too far to understand what a huge win this was. Wisconsin had only lost one game at home coming into the contest and had a shot at grabbing sole possession of second place in the Big Ten.
Instead, Ohio State took care of business and kept itself among the upper division of the Big Ten and within arms reach of Iowa, Wisconsin, Purdue, and Illinois in a battle for second place.
