Watch: ‘What’s Inside the Box’ series continues with Episode 2

“It’s a bucket. With gooey stuff in it. Gooey bucket.”

Quandre Diggs confidently answered with the above statement in the Detroit Lions second installment of their hilarious video series, “What’s Inside the Box?”

The Lions’ media department continues to knock their summer videos out of the park. They have already released Episode 1 of What’s Inside the Box and also introduced a new series called “Teammate Mashup“, both of which have delivered the laughs.

You can watch the entire video below:

In addition to the Diggs quote at the beginning of this piece, some of my favorite moments from this episode include:

  • After multiple flinches and timidness Da’Shawn Hand says, “Oh, it’s just a piece of broccoli” and laughs in relief.
  • “Is this like a new thing? Is this totally not been ever discovered before? Did you put something in here to make us look dumb?” — Graham Glasgow said about a pinecone.
  • “Did you guys test this, to make sure it was stuff that would feel kinda creepy?” — Taylor Decker
  • “This is a Nintendo 64 controller. Anybody want to see me in Super Smash Brothers or Mario Kart, come holler at me.” — Marvin Jones
  • “Wait, I gotta reach in there? Why do I have to reach in there? I don’t want to go in. What’s in there? — Joe Dahl
  • “Well it hurts if I hold onto it like that, so I’m not going to do that.” — Miles Killebrew
  • “Any other distinctions other than a nub and spikes?” — Graham Glasgow
  • In trying to identify a Durain (an exotic Asian fruit), Ryan Santoso almost got it, “Durang, Durang-something. Duran Duran-something?”
  • “Is this the one that smells really weird on the inside?” — Matthew Stafford
