Another game, another business trip for the 2019 Ohio State football team. The thought going into this one is that the weird Friday night affair in combination with a stingy Northwestern defense could present some challenges for the Buckeyes similar to games at Iowa and Purdue the last couple of season.
Not so.
Head coach Ryan Day had his troops prepared and ready to play as evidenced by the 52-3 beat down. Simply put; Ohio State was absolutely dominant from the start of the game all the way through.
Day took some time to meet with the media after the game to discuss his team and what he saw from Northwestern. He praised his team on its ability to get ready for the game, spoke about the play of Justin Fields, the respect he has for the Pat Fitzgerald and his Northwestern program, and more.
