The Ohio State Buckeyes absolutely obliterated the Maryland Terrapins. Scoring 21 in both the first and second quarters, the Buckeyes went into the half up 42-0.
They were sending a message.
The Buckeyes are the No. 1-ranked team in the nation, and they proved that every second of the game, they’re bringing their best. With six combined touchdowns to start the game, Ohio State ended up winning 73-14.
There’s no denying that this was going to be an easy matchup all along for Ohio State, but they made sure to end any chance of an upset early. Known for that random October/November upset, Ohio State took all the air out of that take early.

The Buckeyes will be preparing for what should be another easy matchup this upcoming week as they head to New Jersey to take on Rutgers. In two weeks, they’ll be back at home, taking on the now one-loss Nittany Lions.
