It wasn’t as dominating as the first game in Columbus, but the Maryland Terrapins disposed of Ohio State in College Park with a business-like performance. The Buckeyes made a late rally to try and pull off the upset, but the Terps had the answer with strong play down the stretch to win 72-62.
Head coach Mark Turgeon met with the local media after the win to discuss his team and talk about what Ohio State brought to the table. He was pleased with his team’s ability to finish strong after the Buckeyes rally, but also credited the players wearing scarlet and gray.
