Ohio State won another tough battle on the road in the Big Ten, this time over a physical and athletic Maryland squad that looked intent on making a statement for its prospects for the postseason. It was the Buckeyes’ fifth-straight win and eight of their last nine to inch ever so closer to first place in the league.
Terrapins head coach Mark Turgeon met with the local media after the game to discuss what he saw from his team, but had some very complimentary things to say about Ohio State as well. He complimented the Buckeyes’ depth, shooting, and ability so much that he focused more on some positives for what his team showed against such a high-quality team.
