Watch what happened when Leeds United legend Vinnie Jones returned to Elland Road for special fan event

Leeds United legend Vinnie Jones has returned to Elland Road and you can see what he got up to.

An Evening With Vinnie Jones, organised by Kong Events, took place at the stadium’s Centenary Pavilion on Thursday evening.

As the video above shows, Jones, who became a cult hero during his time with the Whites, enjoyed some fun with supporters while he also talked openly and frankly with the sold out crowd about how his life has changed since the death of his wife Tanya.

She passed away last year, at the age of 53,  following a battle with cancer.

Discussing how he’s dealing with his loss, Jones said: “As lads, we do have problems (communicating) and you’ve got to seek help.

The event saw £4,600 raised for charity Wishes 4 Kids (Terry Blackburn Online)

“Go and speak to people. So many people are coming on Twitter and thanking me for helping them. If I can just help one of you tonight then great.”

Former Wales star Jones, 55, who has became a film star after his playing days, earned an army of new fans last year when he appeared on Celebrity X Factor soon after his wife’s death.

He was praised for his bravery in promoting mental health while appearing on Simon Cowell’s reality TV show.

Elsewhere during his return to Leeds, Jones led an auction of Leeds United’s special centenary shirt which raised £4,600 for the Wishes 4 Kids charity.
