One of the coolest things about the Buckeye program is how many former players come back around Columbus to be a part of things. One of those players, Malcolm Jenkins, was an All-American defensive back during his time at Ohio State and he stopped by to speak to the football team as a part of Real Life Wednesdays.
For those of you that don’t know, Real Life Wednesdays were started by former head coach Urban Meyer and they revolve around life lessons outside of the game of football. As a part of them, sometimes the coaches bring in a speaker to pass words of wisdom on to the team.
Watch what Jenkins had to say to the football team during his talk Wednesday. It was a recurring theme that we hear many speakers impart when they talk to the team, and it’s one of taking advantage of all the opportunities a place like Ohio State provides.
