Watch: West Lothian nurses create Lewis Capaldi-inspired video about social distancing

A group of midwives in West Lothian have created a song and dance to make a light-hearted illustration of social distancing amid the coronavirus crisis.

The video 'Don't Hold Me While You Wait' - a tongue-in-cheek version of Lewis Capaldi 's tune 'Hold Me While You Wait' sees the midwives from St John's Hospital in Livingston explain what correct social distancing looks like.

"We're going to show you how to adequately perform social distancing to help your NHS in testing times - our message is simple."

"This is you, this is me, two metres is all we need.

"Stay away - don't hold me while you wait.

The video comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon stressed that "self-isolation advice is not optional" and is vital for the protection of our loved ones as the Covid-19 outbreak grows.
