WATCH: Washington Nationals set to visit White House Monday

The Washington Nationals will visit the White House on Monday to be recognized for their 2019 World Series win.

The White House tweeted out the news Friday afternoon and the Washington Post confirmed that the team had excepted the invitation for the visit.

The Post reported that the schedule (1:15 p.m. Monday) best fit the number of players who are still in town and will be after the team’s parade, which is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
