It sure didn’t take former Ohio State and current Washington Football Team defensive end Chase Young long to get back into the swing of things. Back from a groin injury suffered a couple of weeks ago, Young made his presence known against the Rams by shedding the right tackle’s block to the inside and finding running back Darrell Henderson for a one-yard loss.
We’re pretty sure Henderson’s eyes got wide and there may have been a moment of fear when he saw the 6-foot, five-inch, 254-pounder standing in his way all alone with bad intentions.
Young may have finished with just two tackles against the Rams, but he was once again stood out on film. Washington no doubt missed his presence for the time he was out and will be a much more dangerous defense with him back in the mix.
