Watch: Warriors’ Juan Toscano-Anderson throws down windmill dunk after steal vs. Kings

With Draymond Green sidelined due to an illness against the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors called on Juan Toscano-Anderson in the starting lineup on Thursday night. With an increased role against the Kings, the Oakland native had the opportunity to show off his athleticism.

Early in the first quarter, Toscano-Anderson swiped the ball away from De’Aaron Fox, leading to a wide-open fast break for the Warriors. With a clear lane to the rim, Toscano-Aderson added a moment to his highlight reel.

Toscano-Anderson exploded for a smoothing windmill dunk to pull the Warriors within two-points of the Kings.

Despite Golden State’s ugly 141-119 loss to the Kings, Toscano-Anderson registered an impressive performance, tallying 15 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the floor and 3-of-3 from long distance. Along with his efficient night scoring the basketball, the Marquette product added six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 26 minutes against the Kings.

With the Warriors slated for the second leg of a back-to-back on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks, the Warriors could lean on Toscano-Anderson again in the starting lineup if Green still isn’t feeling well.
