Watch: Warriors’ Juan Toscano-Anderson hammers poster dunk over Suns’ JaVale McGee

After an underwhelming loss to the streaking Phoenix Suns, the Golden State Warriors had something to prove in the rematch at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Friday.

Behind 23 points from Steph Curry and a fiery performance from the second unit, the Warriors avenged their loss from Friday night and snapped the Suns’ 18-game winning streak with a 118-96 victory.

Juan Toscano-Anderson put an exclamation mark on the Warriors’ win with a vicious dunk. The Oakland native put Suns center JaVale McGee on a poster with a high-flying emphatic dunk in the first quarter.

After saving the ball near halfcourt, Draymond Green found Toscano-Anderson cutting through the lane for the explosive slam. Toscano-Anderson’s hammer dunk set the Dub Nation crowd into a frenzy at Chase Center.

Toscano-Anderson’s dunk was just the start of an impressive night for the Golden State reserve forward. Toscano-Anderson finished the contest with a season-high 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor with five rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes.

The Warriors and Toscano-Anderson will be back on the floor at Chase Center on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs.
