Vikings wide receiver Bisi Johnson has impressed the franchise after they drafted him in the seventh-round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
After Adam Thielen left the game with a hamstring injury in Week 7 against the Lions, Johnson was the next man up, and he took advantage of that quickly.
Early in the second quarter, Johnson scored his first-career touchdown on a one-yard pass from Kirk Cousins on a playaction bootleg.
If Thielen misses significant time, Johnson will see an increase of reps. It’s something to especially watch considering the Vikings have a short week, playing the Redskins on Thursday night in Week 8.
