Spring camp in the NFL is a place where myths are made and legends are born. In Washington this past month, rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin reportedly made a touchdown catch in 11-on-11 drills that made players’ and coaches’ jaws drop.
Finally, 16 days later, the video of that catch has surfaced for all of us to see. Feast your eyes upon this connection between Dwayne Haskins and McLaurin.
It happens fast, but if you look closely, it appears that McLaurin reaches around the back of CB Deion Harris and catches the ball with two hands before transferring the ball to one hand as he secures the grab.
Of course, in a perfect world, this video would be of the highest quality and playing on a loop for us. The good news is that the two Ohio State boys should be making plays like these for many Sundays to come.
